The Electromobility Technology Workshop: Driving a Greener Value Chain by i-HeCoBatt

The “Electromobility Technology Workshop: Driving a Greener Value Chain” was organised by the i-HeCoBatt project (Grant Agreement No 824300), Intelligent Heating and Cooling solution for enhanced range EV Battery packs. i-HeCoBatt is a highly specialised collaborative project in which a consortium of six industrial & research organisations jointly develops innovative solutions for EV batteries.
This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 824300.
Permanent Seminar of Energetic Transition and Industrial Competitiveness (USC) Hands-on session for technology innovation and proposal preparation.

A hands-on session was held to brainstorm future technologies for batteries and EVs, offering the opportunity to brainstorm and cluster new R&I ideas that will contribute to the EU objectives to build sustainable and competitive solutions for the next generation of EVs. The conclusions have been gathered in the white paper to guide the future technologies for batteries and the EV in the EU funding context.
The Permanent Seminar on Energy Transition and Industrial Competitiveness (SPERTUS) was established by the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) in 2021. SPERTUS aims to be a think tank for strategic reflection on the world energy scene and its implications for Spain's industrial and economic structure.
Co-creation of the Life Cycle Inventory of new Li-ion battery with the cell manufacturers

ASTRABAT Satellite Event has been reserved for the project consortium to focus on the Co-creation of the Life Cycle Inventory of the new Li-ion battery with the cell manufacturers. Through this workshop industrialisation challenges was addressed to assess new all-solid-sate battery economic and ecologic profiles in an upscaled real case.
ASTRABAT is a European project (Grant Agreement No 875029) launched in January 2020. It aims to develop optimal Lithium-ion battery solutions for the increasing demands of the electric vehicle market. The goal is to fulfil Europe’s need for a safe, high-energy, sustainable and marketable battery for green mobility that could be manufactured in Europe on a massive scale.
